Siena, Volterra and San Giminiano

Spend a unique and unforgettable day in Tuscany: visit the suggestive medieval cities of Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano, discover the beautiful landscape of Chianti, a land of fine and famous local wines!

The first stop will be Siena for a guided tour to discover its architecture, including the exterior of the Duomo and the Palazzo Comunale in Piazza del Campo. The famous square with its shell structure is the perfect stage for the famous Palio, the horse race held twice every summer.

We will then continue to Volterra, perched on a rocky promontory and surrounded by a wild countryside. Here history has left its mark with continuity from the Etruscan period up to the nineteenth century, with artistic and monumental testimonies of great importance, which can be admired simply walking through the streets of the historic center.

In addition you can find a pristine landscape, a quality of life still human and a unique artistic craftsmanship in the world: alabaster.

We then proceed to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most beautiful examples of the Italian medieval city.

San Gimignano, which stands out for its famous medieval towers, stands along the Via Francigena, on the hills of the upper Val D’Elsa. Famous for its vernaccia, saffron and Santa Fina ceramics, San Gimignano is the perfect city to explore the Tuscan territory.
