Some of the sights that you will explore with us will be the “Duomo”, “Palazzo Comunale” in the “Piazza del Campo” overlooked by the “Torre del Mangia”. With its unique structure in a shell shape the Piazza is the home to one of the oldest horse racing activity that has been hosted at the Piazza for centuries. The Paglio happens twice a year during the summer season and from April onwards the town start its build up to the Paglio and this can be seen for the colourful decorations that are hung on the walls and outside of individuals houses to show their support to the supporting teams that participate in the race.
