Siena and San Giminiano

Treat yourself to a day tour of the wine region through the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. We will visit San Gimignano, the Chianti region, land of wine, and the medieval city of Siena.

The first stop will be Siena for a guided tour to discover its architecture, including the exterior of the Duomo and the Palazzo Comunale in Piazza del Campo. The famous square with its shell structure is the perfect stage for the famous Palio, the horse race held twice every summer.

We then proceed to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most beautiful examples of the Italian medieval city.

San Gimignano, which stands out for its famous medieval towers, stands along the Via Francigena, on the hills of the upper Val D’Elsa.

Famous for its vernaccia, saffron and Santa Fina ceramics, San Gimignano is the perfect city to explore the Tuscan territory. You can take advantage of free time to stroll through the city streets and explore the squares, admire the architecture, the churches and the small streets.
