Florence, the home of Renaissance

A truly full immersion in the search and explorations of fine art and rich architecture that have made Florence so popular. Together with a private guide you will be able to explore and see the most important buildings and monuments that have made Florence the capital for the renascence era.

You will visit “Palazzo Pitti”, which today plays host to four different museums:

the Treasure of the Grand Dukes on the ground floor, the Palatine Gallery and the Royal and Imperial Apartments on the noble floor of the Palace, the Gallery of Modern Art and the Museum of Fashion and Costume at second floor.

We will then head to Palazzo Medici, the residence of one of the most important family that have had a key part in shaping the renascence era, today the palazzo is the home of “Metropolitan Council” and in the “Accademy’s Gallery” you will be able to see with your very own eyes one of the most popular statues in the world David by Michelangelo.

The tour will then head to the “Duomo”, a symbol of gothic style of the renascence era and with the “Piazza della Signoria”, key hub of the buzzing and civil life of the city we will then head toward the “Ponte Vecchio” were the bridge is the home of the independent boutiques selling locally build jewellery.

Useful information

It is necessary to wear appropriate clothing to enter the Duomo, which is totally accessible.
Palazzo Medici has an equipped side entrance, an elevator and a stair lift to reach the various rooms.
The Accademia Gallery has a step at the entrance, but inside there is an elevator and an accessible bathroom.
