A few Kilometres from the ruins of the “Foro Romano”, you can admire the marvellous ruins of Ancient Ostia. With its 150 hectors, the archaeological park is also the biggest in the world equivalent to Pompei. The digs offer an important testimony of the commercial trading and portal that Ostia represented back in the VII century. In 2015 a new path was created that allows access to the majority of the ruins to all including wheelchair.
The new itinerary, which follows a path along the river, has a length of 250 meters and will join another existing path which has been designed and made easily accessible to those with visual impediments to create a path with a total length of 500 meters.
